In Zusammenarbeit mit RCmodelspot.com entsteht die neue Klasse für Scalesegler mit dem Maßstab 1:3.5.
Auf dem Markt gibt es zahlreiche Modelle in Maßstab 1:3.5. Sie sind kleiner, kompakter und günstiger als die Modelle der Scale/SLS- und 1:3-Klassen und können sogar von Hand gestartet werden. Das macht die Klasse attraktiv für Neueinsteiger. Auch darf mit Modellen in größeren Maßstäben geflogen werden, wie zum Beispiel 1:3,75, 1:4 usw.
Die Modelle müssen, analog zur 1:3-Klasse, die Merkmale des Vorbildes Kontur, Spannweite, Länge, Kabinenhaube, Fahrwerk usw.) aufweisen, damit sie in dieser Klasse eingesetzt werden dürfen. Die maximale Flächenbelastung liegt bei 115 g/qdm.
Die Grösse des Dreieckes und die Einflughöhe für diese Klasse beträgt 400 / 400 m. Die Einfluggeschwindigkeit ist auf max. 120 km/h beschränkt. Damit die Flüge korrekt in dieser Klasse gewertet werden, muss das Taskfile
die Höhe (400 m), Distanz (400 m) und Speed (120 km/h) enthalten.
Für 2023 ist vorgesehen, eine reine Onlinewertung über die Website www.rcmodelspot.com durchzuführen. Für 2024 sind dann drei bis vier lokale Wettbewerbe, verteilt über ganz Europa, geplant.
In der laufenden Saison 2023 werden alle Flüge, die den 3,5-Scale-Regeln entsprechen und auf der Plattform hochgeladen werden, automatisch in die AUFWIND-Wertung aufgenommen. Der Jahressieger erhält am Ende des Jahres eine exklusive Trophäe.
In the current 2023 season, all flights that comply with the 3.5 scale rules and are uploaded to the platform will automatically be included in the AUFWIND ranking. The annual winner will receive an exclusive trophy at the end of the year.
In cooperation with RCmodelspot.com, the new class for scale gliders with a scale of 1:3.5 is being created.
There are numerous models on the market in 1:3.5 scale. They are smaller, more compact and cheaper than the models in the Scale/SLS and 1:3 classes and can even be launched by hand. This makes the class attractive for newcomers. It is also allowed to fly with models in larger scales, such as 1:3.75, 1:4, etc.
Analogous to the 1:3 class, the models must have the characteristics of the prototype (contour, wingspan, length, canopy, landing gear, etc.) in order to be allowed to fly in this class. The maximum wing loading is 115 g/sqm.
